ferret shaking

Hi! My name is Brenda and my ferret seems to be shaking a lot. I have turned off the fan and air conditioner but nothing seems to change. He only shakes a little bit when I hold him but he lays or sleeps on my lap he shakes more. And I'm really scared because he is just an 6 month old ferret! Tonight I'm going to try to put an mini blanket over the cage. I also don't know if this is normal because this is my first ferret and I only had him for a month. Please help me before it gets worse!

Ferrets often shiver when they first wake up.  If it is happening at other times, get him to a ferret vet as soon as possible.  He is awfully young, so I am not sure what the problem might be, but a vet would be able to help.  After his check up, I recommend the book Ferrets for Dummies.  A great resource for old and new ferret owners.
