Something is wrong with my ferret

Hello Ami, our ferret mimi is about 10 to 11 months old, and she has always been a very active ferret but today we woke up and she is not acting right.  Something is wrong, she is breathing very heavily, and she wont move, she just lays on our arms, or lays where ever we put her.  Please help. What do you thing is wrong?  We love her so much and we dont wanna loose her. Help

Hello, I am very sorry to hear your little ferret is sick. I have absolutely no way to tell what is wrong, it could be any number of things.I am not able to tell you what is wrong, lethargy is a symptom of many ailments.It could be insulinoma, but there is no way to tell... Take her to the vet asap.You may want to give her a small amount of sugar water with an eye dropper, but nothing else until a vet sees her. here is a site about insulinoma:
