Is this good for my ferret?

I haven't feed my ferret any yet because I don't want nothing to happen to him that I could've prevented. Is fancy feast a good meal for a ferret or would it be more along the lines of a treat? If it is not a good food could you give me a detailed list of foods you've known ferrets to like. I don't want like oh well meat because of the good nutrients and stuff. I know this I would just like something that would give me specific foods that you personally or have heard about ferrets adapting to as there everyday meal.
I would greatly apperciate it I'm a new ferret owner and only 14 so the more help the better.

Ferrets need to eat often so make sure you feed him something as soon as possible.  Even a kitten food is better then nothing for today.  I feed Natural Gold Ferret food and Totally ferrets Venison food.  Mine get a mix of both.  As a new ferret owner, I suggest you buy or borrow from the library a  book called Ferrets for Dummies by Kim Schilling.  It should help you with a lot of questions when getting started.  But, the ferret needs food and water ASAP.
