Lupron to prevent Adrenal

Question

Hi! I have two girl ferrets ages 9 and 6 months. I have a wonderful
vet who told me about Lupron to prevent Adrenal Disease. He said only
one major study has been done with good results. One shot a
year to prevent them from the disease and balance their hormones?
sounds too good to be true. I just wanted to know what your thoughts
are on this shot. Worth it? Thank you so much

There are few vets doing this and some are still deep in the research of this actually preventing adrenal disease.

As of now there is no concrete evidence that it will actually prevent the disease. I personally wouldn't do it unless there was some kind of proof behind it
