First-time grooming our dog

Question
We have a spaniel (part King Charles Cavalier) who was a rescue
dog. She is great with us, travels all the time on trips in our car,
and is very calm with us. She has some stranger anxiety that has
improved after the year we've had her. Especially she was not
good with little kids (that has improved also). She has medium
hair and I'm sure she should have a grooming but I'm unsure
how she will react. She doesn't do too good at the vets when we
take her. Should I forget this grooming? We live in the Baltimore,
MD area. Know any good groomers around here?

Ah, I am so sorry Mark, York Road is out of my travel area.  The good thing though is that I am not the only mobile groomer out there.  Check around, the yellow pages, your local vet, I am sure you will find one in your area.  I still feel this is your best method of grooming.  I am sorry I cannot personally assist you.  Cindy lou :)
