I feed my dog and cat human food.

I feed my cat and my dog both human food. Will that hurt my animals if i keep doing it?

Yes.  Not only does such a diet fail to give the complete and balanced diet dogs and cats need, it often leads to liver and pancreas damage.  Often the dogs and cats don't show any symptoms until it is too late.  Modern dog and cat chows are carefully formulated to give meet each's nutritional needs providing the complete and balanced diet they need.  All but the cheapest chows provide a much better diet than you could ever provide.  If you are more careful about your purchasing and cooking, you will more than save enough on your food bill to buy them the diet they need.
