Cysts on Puggles

My puggle has a cyst on the webbing of his paw. the vet gave me to options to remove it. 1. anesthesia or 2. sedative. I am not sure which way to go. She is 5 years old in 2 weeks and is healthy otherwise. DO they have to be removed? She is licking it at times. Any advise you van give would be helpful.

Yes, I would remove a cyst if in the webbing of the paw. It will most likely continue to grow and since she is constantly walking on it is is surely very annoying or painful. If your dog is healthy and without heart problems, anesthesia should be perfectly safe.
