Sudden need to pee constantly

Question
Hi, I have a 5 month old Aussie female named Soffie. She is completely housebroken.  Last night she barked to go out(not unusual) and did.  But barked again five minutes later.  This went on for half an hour and has reoccurred as the day progressed--every hour or so.  She seems to be trying to pee, but is not in distress or lethargic.  Her appetite and water consumption are normal.  I am trying to determine if she needs to see a vet today or if it could be something else.  I did change her food 2 days ago.
Thank you

Answer
I reccomend you get her checked out just to be safe.

Hopefully you've already made an appointment with your veterinarian since the puppy is five months old.
Collect a urine sample from your puppy to take in with you to have a urinalysis done.
Catch the sample by taking the puppy outside to use the bathroom, once he starts urinating, stick a cup or bowl and catch the urine MID-STREAM.
If it's going to be a while until your appointment with the vet, stick the sample in the fridge.

This also could be normal if your dog constantly is drinking alot.

Ben.
