Question
Hello,
   My problem is this;
           I have recently recieved (2) 6 week old pit bull puppies. I do know some things on raising pits but there is much I don't know. Is there anything that is of major importance to know?   And they are brother and sister does that change any thing?
               Sincerely,

Answer
Hi there,

i can give you a lot of info, but that would be useless as it is all on the net. Just search "raising pups" etc and you will find all that is necessary.

The only things i can tell you is that you have double the work load but also have it somewhat easier as the pups have each other so the nights wont be full of crying.

A couple things to remember, get all teh shots necessary and than start socializing them with all types of people and dogs so that they are prepared for the future.

For the first couple of weeks teach them the command "no" and "okay" or w/e. Teach them that you are boss and now their mom.

Also begin to take them to classes etc in about a few weeks so that they are good dogs. Pits can get out of hand so it is important to socailize them properly. Also remember to feed and give them enough time play nap etc.

Hope this helps, but you can find loads more on the net.

Bye and good luck
