Pitbull - Rash/Loosing hair

Question
My pitbull is about 10 months old, and since he was 9 weeks old, has been having an excessive itching, almost rash on his face. The vet told us first it was a yeast infection, now they are trying to say that he is allergic to yeast and grain, and had us buy special, costly food, plus allergy pills. Since that, a month ago, my dogs face is so bad, that he is loosing all hair around his eyes and nose, and between his shoulders. He is itching so much that he bleeds, and when he itches, he's scratching himself on the walls, leaving blood all over it, and as soon as he goes outside to use the bathroom, he instead goes straight for the grass, and rubs himself till he bleeds more. There are these scabs that are turning up now, and they are not normal blood scabs, almost like an alligator skin forming on him. Me and my fiance are totally babbled at what is going on, and feel like the vet is almost being like a bad mechanic, each time telling us its something different, so we spend more money. I have previously had a pitbull with Mites, but it doesn't seem to be the same thing. We will give him benadryl as the vet said to do, but he's over 80 pounds, and not even three seem to faze him at all. Please, do you have any clue of what it could be?? We live in Indianapolis, and I just feel that the vet doesn't seem to want to deal with the situation, and just keeps pushing us off. Our dog is our child, and we feel helpless and he just seems to keep getting worse. Please, have you ever heard or seen such a thing before?

Answer
Oh NO... Jamie - let's make some major changes for your boy!

Here is what I want you to do:

Change his food to Innova Evo -  No junk fillers like corns... 99 % meat and no grains.
Innova EVO  ( make sure it is the EVO)
Read the back of the bag... You will feed much less of this food and his poops will be smaller... The food is more condensed with the GOOD stuff he needs....
****  You can find Innova Evo at any PET store ****

Next, Give him some yogurt each day - Activia brand has the active cultures that he needs... Give him 1/2 cup of Activia each day.  You must get this brand.  If you can't find it let me know and I will suggest something else.

( When you change his food do it over a 2 week period of time, so that he doesn't get loose poops)

<<<< Do 1/2 his old food and 1/2 his new food ....after 2 weeks- go to all 100% of the NEW Innova Food...OK >>>

Last - Get him onto the NuVET Plus Skin and Coat Supplement - This is the BEST in the USA.. NOT sold in stores -
Only by VET offices and the Manufacturer.
GET it thru the "company web site " and save 45% off of What the VET would mark it up!

NuVET is Guaranteed to help or YOUR money back.

Order the 180 count bottle of NuVET Plus -  Give your baby 2 wafers per day... ( this will cost about .60 cents per wafer)..
Much less than what you  spend at the vet office...
The 180 bottle will get you thru 3 months of NuVET Plus.

Tell Joan that Marie ( of All Experts) sent you... My order code is 81098  -  Ask for the 15% Discount on Auto ship.

Also, give your baby the Benadryl 50 mg, every 12 hrs.... ( for a few more weeks)  After the NuVET Plus and the Innova EvO kick in.... you won't need the benadryl.

Last, Give your baby a bath in Tea Tree OIL Shampoo... You can find this in the pet stores or order it on the NuVET E-Store -
NuVET sells a wonderful shampoo of Tea Tree Oil..
