Question
Hey i have a 2 month old pitbull (male) i was wondering if i can feed it raw veggies?

Answer
Yes, you can feed him raw fruits and veggies. However, you should be careful what you feed him and in what amounts. Dogs can have food allergies just like humans, so you should only give him small amounts of things to start off with and observe him for any "reactions". Also, some fruits and veggies can cause upset stomachs, diarrhea, constipation...So, until you know how your dog is going to handle them, it really is best to start off with a small amount.

Some things your dog may enjoy are: apples (cored), pears (cored), orange slices, grapefruit, bananas (in small amounts), carrots (one of the best veggie treats there is), celery, and broccoli.

Things you should NOT give him: grapes, raisins, prunes, avocado, macadamia nuts...There are some other ones that I cannot think of off the top of my head. The best rule of thumb to use is- If you aren't sure, don't give it to him until a vet tells you that it's okay.
