my lab was last covered on 29th apr and is like ly to deliver in a few days time.what care is to be taken post delivery?what shud be her diet?wht can be done at my end to assist her delivery?under what circumstances do i need vet help?

Is this your lab's first litter?

Get in touch with the best vet in town. I know it might cost you a little extra - but its worth it. Get your vet to come visit every day. And stay on standby for her labour.

Without seeing your bitch and knowing her history, i will not recommend any special diet or additions. I strongly recommend with a few days to go - your vet should be visiting your house every day.

Nothing to panic or get worried - sometimes there are complications at birth and it's advisable to have a trained vet on the spot 'before' this happens.
