i have a 5mth old female lab properly immunised and healthy but recently shedding a lot of hair no itching or skin lesios

It sounds like it could be fall season shedding. I am not sure whether it is the temperature or the length of day that brings on shedding.  The further north, the colder and shorter the days are now.  In India your days are going to be warm and almost as long as in the summer.  So she may only now be shedding.  They shed even more in the spring.  If she was a little older, I would say it could be preparation for her reproductive cycle.  The first one can come almost anytime the second half of the first year.

Are you feeding her a good diet?  The easiest way to make sure she is getting the nutrition she needs is to feed a food such as the Pedigree.  Brushing her every day with a soft bristled brush helps control shedding and odor.
