Question
Hi I have a Jack Russell 3 years old, she has been acting strangly panting and shaking, looks like she is scared or nervouse keeps looking at the door, Also she only does this at night times. Please give me an answer and no she has not had any relationship with anydog before I always look after her.

Answer
Hello Koray,
I'm sorry this is late getting to you but we were away for the holidays. It's very hard to say why your dog is having anxiety. It sounds like something might have spooked her outside in the night and now she can't forget about it. Try desensitizing her to the fear by taking her out there over and over and over again until it gets to the point it's boring her and she is no longer afraid. It could also be that she is nervous that you are leaving her. Maybe you have left her at that night time hours (to go to the store or anything)and she is afraid you won't be coming back. Again, you should do the same thing with desensitizing her to the fear, keep leaving and coming back in until she realizes that there is nothing to worry about. If it keeps up, you should take to the veterinarian for a check up. Best of luck with your Jack.
Take care
