Training to defacate in certain areas.

We have a two year old Golden Retriever. She is a wonderful dog and very well trained. One thing though, she seems to always defacate in the grassy area around our patio.  We have a fairly large yard and I was hoping we could train her to start defacating in the back area of the yard if possible. Is there some training method or some sort of product we could put down in the patio area that would make her go to another part of the yard to defacate?  Thanks.

Well one thing you could do is whenever she is sniffing to go poo near the patio take her to the back where you want her to poo. Stay with her for a while until she goes there. Repeat this everytime you think she needs to go.
BE CONSISTENT! Dont let her poop near the patio sometimes. This will make her think that going there is okay. If she manages to go near the patio, just pick up the poo and place it at place where she should go. So next time she sniffs at her poo, she would say "hey iv pooped here before, so ill poo her again!". Hope this helps. If you have anymore questions feell free to ask. Bye. ^_^
