PLEASE HELP MY GERMAN SHEPHERD GAIN WEIGHT

I have a 10 month old female German Shepherd. She is very healthy. Her entire body is filled out except her stomach. Her ribs are protruding. She looks like I haven't fed her in months. She has a good appetite and her coat is shiny. I just wanted to know if there is anything I can do to make her gain weight so she doesn't look like she is anorexic.

Just how bad is she?  Is your vet concerned?  Has she been checked for worms?  Sometimes it takes a couple of checks to find a tapeworm.  It is quite common for a young Shepherd to show some rib.  As long as your vet isn't worried, you might better leave well enough alone.  You are feeding a concentrated, meat based chow?  Switching from regular Purina to a meat based product made enough difference we were able to take our one Lab out in public without people calling the SPCA.  He apparently never read about what gluttons Labs are and how hard it is to keep them from getting fat.
