German shepherd Diet

Is it ok. to feed a german shepherd fresh chicken frames?.I have beenn feeding my G/S a chicken frame each morningfor three years, with no apparent problem. Today I was told that Chicken frames can be the cause of the G/S hip problem, is there any truth in this?.

I am hard put to come up with evidence that it is harmful.  It would be even more difficult to come up with evidence the dog needs it.  If you looked at my profile, you would have seen I dog work with dog guides.  The school has far more experience with Shepherds than you will fine other places.  They feed their adults dry Pro Plan chicken and rice and nothing else.  Other similar programs seed similar chows.  They forbid those raising puppies to feed anything except dog chow, no additives or anything else.  Although much of it is due to their careful breeding, they have very few hip problems in their program.  Your dog will fine on most common chows and nothing else.
