How long do you think it generally takes for cats to tolerate eachother?

Hi again,

This is not an easy one to answer as there really is no specific one!  It really depends on the cats involved.  In my experience though, they do always get it figured out even if the solution is for them to stake out their own territories in the house.  

So hang in there!  One thing I forgot to mention in my last post was that after he gets the NO he should also get a time out, doesn't have to be for very long but it should also help.  You need to be consistent and not allow him to stalk her in any way, this is the only way he will learn even though it is probably going to frustrate you, and the only way she will feel safe.
