Question
I lost my cat, Cheyenne on April 29.  I love her and miss her.  I am alone with no children or family--she was it.  She was my buddy and taught me about unconditional love.  Someone told me to get a copy of the Rainbow Bridge.  You mentioned it.  If youhave a copy, would you e-mail it to me?  I would really would appreciate it.

Answer
I'm very sorry to hear about your loss.  My cats are like my kids and since I am by myself alot of the time, they are constant company.  At one time I have lost 7 cats in 3 years.  The last cat I lost was hit by a car and I found her dead in the side of my driveway.  I was devastated and grieved for almost a year...even after getting a kitten to replace her.  I truly feel your sorrow.  I will find a copy of Rainbow Bridge and send you the link.  I will also send you the web address incase the link doesn't work.

I've also found that getting another kitten right away helps fill the void of Cheyenne.  It's ok not to have specail feelings for the kitten right away, as it is just a physical replacement.  You still need to grieve and let your heart mend.  Having another kitten speeds up the grieving process and although you won't feel it now, but as time goes by you will create a special bond between you two.

At a difficult time like this, it is important that you think of her loss in a way that will benefit all cats.  Yes, she was taken from you in the physical sence, but she will always be with you in the spiritual sence.  She moved on to another place to give you a chance to take in another lucky kitten that will grow up in an happy and loving home and live a fulfilling life.  Cheyenne is now taking care of you.  When she finds the perfect kitty to step into your life, you will be introduced to that kitty, wether its a stray, a friend, the shelter, or whatever.  When you and the new kitty meets, it would have been from Cheyenne's intervention and desire to make you happy.

Atfer experiencing loss of cats, I come to realize that divine intervention happens even in animals.  When I lost Jasmine, I was devasted.  I told a friend and she just happened to have some kittens born.  I got one from her and he is just the best cat in the world.  It's like I have Jasmine back.  He is just like her but opposite.  I believe that Jasmine steered me in that direction to that particular cat because they are so much alike.

Send me you email address for the link
