Cat Holiday

My dad is going on holidy for 4 weeks and I have agreed to take his cat she is 8 mths old and been spayed.  The thing is I have 2 cats of my own female spayed 14 mths and male neutered 8mths (brother of my dads cat.  On reading articles about introducing cats they all seem to say give the cat a room of its own.  I only have a 1 bedroom flat and both my cats have access to all areas (except bathroom).

The plan so far to introduce my dads cat slowly is to bring her to my house at weekends.

Is there any other advice you could give to make sure her stay is less stressful?

PS when I introduced my new cat to the established one it took around a week, although I'm sure sometimes she still hates him for coming into the house when the play gets a little too rough.

It all depends on the cat yet some vets recommend using baby powder by putting it on them for a couple of weeks just so they smell the same and if they smell the same they will think their family. Talk to a vet if they recommend this and also make sure it's cat safe baby powder. Good luck and sorry
