BEHAVIOR AND EATING HABITS

MY KITTEN(LUCKY) WAS BORN IN SEPT.I HAVE HAD HER FOR ALMOST A MONTH,AND I CAN'T GET HER TO EAT CANNED FOOD,OR DRY FOOD.I HAVE TRYED MANY DIFFERENT BRANDS(CANNED AND POUCHED).ALL I CAN GET HER TO EAT IS HUMAN TUNA.WHEN I TRYED THE DIFFERENT WET CAT FOODS SHE SCRATCHES THE FLOOR IN FRONT OF THE FOOD,IS SHE TRYING TO TELL ME THAT IT TASTES LIKE WHATS IN HER LITTER BOX?I KNOW ITS NOT HEALTHY FOR HER TO ONLY EAT TUNA.ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED,THANKS LINDA

Get her some IAMs Kitten dry food.  Pour it in a bowl for her so she can get to it at all times.  Do not give her any more tuna.  It isn't good for her.  It does not have the nutrients her body needs to make her a healthy cat.  When she is hungry, she will eat the dry food.  Try not to worry about it....  trust me, she WILL eat.  It might take a day or two, but when she realizes she gets nothing else, she will eat it.... and eventually learn to like it.  When she about a year old, switch her to the regular formula of IAMs....  She will have a happy, healthy life.  Write if you need anything more.  Barb
