Question
Ok my 4 yr old DSH neutered male has suddenly decided not to eat his dry food. I am away most of the week but anyways, have  now started to give him wet food as well. He is on a strict prescription diet of Royal Canin for chronic cholitis and is on prednisone as needed (usually 1x/week) Any ideas? Thanks!

Answer
Hi Caroline.  It's hard to say, since your little one is on Rx food.  However... if he's eating a little wet, you could warm it slightly to entice his olfactory gland (his nose) and then it may make him want to eat a little more.  Other than that, check with your vet, since there are obviously medical issues that you will need to take into consideration before changing any diet or schedule in the feedings.

Good luck!
