Question
What should I do for my cat.  He is breathing with his mouth open.  You can see he is really having trouble breathing.  He stopped eating and drinking last night.  I think he has congestive heart failure since he hasnt been breathing good for about two weeks.  Is this congestive heart failure and what should I do since I can't get to a vet?

Answer
Mariah:

Why can't you get the cat to a vet? Are there mobile vets in your area? He REALLY needs to see a veterinarian.

I am including some links for you to read about heart failure in cats: (type or copy the whole links into your address bar)
