hissing kitten

I obtained two kittens from the shelter.  One kitten was fine allowing us to pet her once in new environment.  Second one is still hissing at all of us and still running away. Kitten was spayed the day was brought home so we gave her some space.  How long do you think this kitten will need space?

Hi Levitha,

Sometimes it takes a few weeks for kittens to get acclimated. Try using some deli chicken as a special treat to tempt her. This should do the trick. It will take a little time. I have one cat that took 6 months to charm but now is my most loving cat that I have. Just take your time with them. Good luck.
