bleeding at onset of labour

My cat is due any day and has started the normal "neediness" that cats go through as they go into labor, her milk is coming in and her belly got huge over the last 5 days. Today we noticed that she has some bleeding, altho it is very fluidous. Is this normal? I have not noticed this in any of our other cats.

I'm afraid that vaginal bleeding during pregnancy is not normal and suggests that may be delivering the litter prematurely, which could mean that a caesarean section is necessary. It could be nothing to worry about, but I suggest you have the vet check her to assess the blood loss and decide what to do.
