Rescued Kitten

I rescued a 3 month old kitten from a cat hoarder. He is very insecure and scared of everybody except for me. He follows me everywhere and has to touch me at all times. I love the attention but am concerned it is not healthy for him to be so dependant on only me. Should I be?
