Two kittens

Question
My husband and I got a kitten when she was about 10 weeks old, and she has lived with us for about 4 months her name is Tigger (female). Tigger is now about 6 months old. We wanted to get another kitten so we got one the other day her name is Snowball and she is 2 months old (female). My older cat tigger just hisses at her and runs into the other room when she sees her or hears her meow. The little one snowball runs under the coach. Can I do anything to help them get along?  Will they get along? Because I really want them to so we can have two kittens. If you have any tips on how to get them along I would really love to hear them.

Thank you

Answer
It is very likely that, in time, they will become the best of friends. If there is no improvement in two weeks then you may need some help, but usually kittens need some time to become adjusted to a new home and the older kitten needs some time to become adjusted to a new occupant of HER home. Be patient and it will probably be fine shortly.
