Question
Can you please tell what are the possible causes of lymph nodes? How big is a normal lymph node?

Answer
Hello,

All mammals have lymph nodes. The only time that there is a difficulty is when they become swollen. If your pet has swollen lymph glands, it signifies that there is a serious infection in its system.

Take it to the vet at once, as delay can be extremely serious. Let me know what is discovered. I am anxious to hear what is discovered.

Long ago when my cat had swollen lymph glands, it was discovered that it had Feline Infectious Leukemia. That was back in 1979. Since then I have learned a lot about this disease and others.

Please get to the vet at once.

Barb
