Sire and kittens

Question
When my queen has kittens sired by the Bengal who lives with her in the same house, should I keep him separated from the kittens or not.  If separated, how long should this separation be for?   Thanks.

Answer
It depends on the temperament of the tom. Unless he is very sweet, he should be kept away from the babies until they are least 8 weeks old. However, sweet males have been known assist in caring for their babies.

Check with another Bengal breeder to be sure.
