cat and his territory

Question
Hello, Barbara.
My cat is 20. He started 'marking his territory'. He'd do it once in a while but not like this. Somebody suggested cayenne paper, I don't know the correct spelling. I'd like to know if you know anything that would to stop him from doing it. He is natural, not 'circumcised', never saw another cat, doesn't go out. Healthy and plays like a kitten.
Thank you,
Allen

Answer
You are telling me that a male cat, who is not altered, is marking for the first time at 20 years of age?  My god, that is wonderful. But at twenty years of age, he is likely not marking at all. He is likely having kidney or bladder troubles. Please have him checked at the vet immediately.
AND I MEAN IMMEDIATELY!!

Let me know what you learn. I am anxious to hear about this,

regards,
Barb
