Body odor from cancer?

Question
I strongly suspect that my 13 year old nutered pomeranian has cancer.  The thing is, no matter how much I bathe him, his body odor doesn't get any better.  I have a mother who has chronic breathing problems and the odor is affecting her breathing.  I have even tried farrett spray.  That does work for a while but about 15 minutes later, he is taking her breath again.  Do you have any suggestions about how to rid him of this terrible body odor, or does cancer cause this to happen?  Thank you,  Shirley

Answer
Dental disease and poor diet is most likely contributing to the bad odor.  I would recommend a trip to the veterinarian for an examination and some blood testing to determine the exact problem.   Try feeding an all-natural dog food that is free of dyes, preservatives and meat by-products to help his overall health such as those made by Flint River Ranch, Prairie, Verus, Precise, Natural Balance, Wellness, etc.
