Question
I have an American pit bull terrier that is 4 years old and within 5 days he doesn't want to eat anything I give him. On the first day he was fine and playful though the day until when I came back from school around at 10:00 at night, he didn't want to eat his food. So I though he didn't want to eat and hope that he eat it tomorrow. The second day was the same as the first day, he didn't want to eat his food and now he been sleeping and walking weird which made me a little concerned. The third day, I mixed up his food with a little rice and meat, though he at a little and sleep all day. Now he cant really hold his urine (which he rarely pee in the house), he lack energy, he will not eat anything, and is occasionally drinking water. My mom took him to the vet today and they say that he don't have no infection or disease but they gave him some medicine and told her to come back on Wednesday, But he is still acting the same way. Please you please tell me what wrong.

(the question that was answered back)
Because Hi - I have no idea - Did they do blood work on him?  Ask them to check his thyroid???  Did they do a urine test for a Urinary Tract Infection?

(reply to the 2nd question)
My mom told me they did do blood work on him and tracked his thyroid. And gave him a urine test because he peed on the doctor's table and was tested negative for any infection. My mom and me recently force feed him (which took about 30 min) and gave him some of the 2 medicine pills called Baytril and Doxycycline. Could it be that his kidneys are failing in his age, if so what can I do?

Answer
Hi - he is young to be having any kidney or liver failure.
You did say the vet had done some blood work.

How about feed him some cottage cheese or even make some scrambled eggs for him.
Mix a little  American of cheddar cheese into the scrambled eggs.

Keep him on the meds that the vet gave you for at least the 7-10 days..
Offer him some ice cubes made with Pedilyte ( flavored electrolyte water for human kids)
Put Pedilyte into his water dish, too.

Let me know how he does with this...
