Salt water test kits

Question
Hi Todd - tho somewhat experienced, I'm going nuts trying to find REFILL salt water test kits for calcium and alkalinity. The REFILLS represent a substantial savings vs. buying a complete test kit each time. I started with a "FastTest" alkalinity kit and a "Salifert" Calcium kit. I've checked on- line and local stores without success. Do you know of any sources for reliable test kit refills for the kits I now have. Also, I'd be interested if you have an opinion as to the most reliable test kit suppliers. THANK YOU!!!

Answer

Jim,

I like to use seachem. I buy my test refills in bulk.  When I buy any of my test "stuff" I always buy  the refills
in 10 or more because I save a great deal of money.  I as said earlier I like seachem. Have you checked out doctor foster and smith online they have good prices.  Also Big Al's online store is great.  Most of my kits come in 50 usages.  Let me know if these stores help.  I can always ask my supplier if he can help.
here is  a helpfull site http://www.drsfostersmith.com

Good Luck and have a great new year
Todd
