Weird creatures in saltwater tank

Question
I found two round, disk-shaped amber colored creatures.  They move or creep like snails & starfish.  They have a hole on their top & sometimes they lay flat & sometimes they form a peak like a shell.  I looked all over online. Could you tell me what they are?  Thank you.

I am sorry, but I would need a much better description or a picture to help me id anything.

Does this have a 'hard' shell on the outside?  One sided shell, like a snail, but flatter?

there are other people whe might be able to ID snails better then I, so please join the forum and I look forware to figureing out what you got crawling around your tank?


btw:  what else do you have in your tank?  fish, corals? etc
