4 green chromis

HELP PLEASE i am about to give up!!!!
Thanks

ANSWER: Hey Wagner,

dont give up yet...   you wont find the answer if you give up!

heheh

can you please tell me a bit about your system?  how old is it, how big, what type of filtrations, and other stuff...

The SG is a bit on the low side, if you are going to try to keep corals later on..

Can you also tell me a bit on how you acclimate your new fish before you put them into your tank???  most folks use a 'drip' acclimation process where you slowly add your existing tank water to the new critter's bag water until the water volume is at least double, (drip slowly)  this could take about an hour or so...

I usually add fish and stuff at night so they can go and hide and not be bullied by the fish that have seniority..

Also, you might want to try www.liveaquaria.com  they have an excellent guarantee... arive alive and stay alive... but you have to follow thier acclimation process to a TEE, and be able to document it...

anyways, let me know th einfo i requested and we can continue to try to figure it out.

good luck, and keep thinkg positive thoughts... no quitting allowed!!!!

Answer
4 months is still a bit new... I am guessing you need to test the water that the fish arrive in, and try to match that water, or get the fish used to your water, over a longer period of time...

Look at www.liveaquaria.com and go over thier acclimation proceedures and see if they are similar in any way to what you are doing..

ALSO, try to make sure that whatever you get, is tank bred/raised... trying to acclimate a wild caught something is always harder as they are used to the pristine condition, quality and openess of the real ocean...

good luck and please keep me posted.

If you want, PLEASE log onto my new forum at www.thelittleocean.com and post more questions there as we have several very smart marine biologist there who can also think of something that maybe i am not...

I look forward to seeing you there
