Question
I wanted to set up small fish bowls around the house that would only contain rocks, water and either floating plants or half submerged plants(no fish or any animals). I wanted to have this year round. Could you tell me what are good plants for this and where to buy them. I am a total newbie and know nothing about this matter. Thanks.

Answer
Hi Flor,
Thanx for your question.  The biggest issue with what you are asking after is the fact that many aquatic plants require some sunlight.  However, the spider plant (a house [plant) can live in water with no sunlight.  Currently, it is popular to use dracaena species in glass pots with pebbles or marbles and a Siamese fighting fish in the water below the plant.I should like to think that you would find the following website interesting.  I hope this helps.
