Algaside ????

You say to put algaside in the ponds to keep the algee away.. It doesn't bother the fish.But, it keeps killing my wonderful plants..! So, how do I do it without harming anything ???
     Also what is the difference between single cell algee & regular algee ??  And how do you deal with the single cell algee ???

Paula, are you using algacide for a pond or a pool? Pond algacide will clump the algaie together and you have to scoop it with a net. If you use pool algacide I am not sure what will happen. If fishe are dieing it may not be the algacide.
