Question
I saw large white dots on some of my fish, @ ick on one fishes dorsal fin. I did an 80% water change @ treated the pond w/Melaflex. All look good now expect one of the baby goldfish. I moved him last night to a separate tank @ treated w/ick medication @ salt for his  large red open wound that on its one side, but now it just stopped eating @ it has Popeye. Is there anything else I can try to save him.

Answer
Hello Susanne!
You did right in removing the fish, so he cannot infect the other fish again with whatever ails him.
I do hate to be the bearer of bad news, but once a fish has pop-eye and/or dropsy (they look like pine cones), they can usually not be saved.
Now the important thing is to find the cause of the disease. The pond water needs to be tested for nitrites and ammonia. 99% of the time an unhealthy level of these substances cause this type of problem (most pet stores that carry fish can and will do this testing for free).
