Question
What is the most drinking water Plant or flower or so..?

I'll tell you why but don't laugh.. I have a water leak on my back yard and it's under ground and it's making a small lake there so I was thinking about something to dry that place up and at the same time to put something nice there..

(Don't tell me to fix it cuz it's hard and costly and will bring me other problems..)

By the way we have a very hot weather and a huge humidity..

Thanks..

Answer
I would think you have an underground spring or if you live in the city a broken watermain. Lets assume it is a spring.
Try planting a weeping willow in the center or some swamp cedars or some other water sucking tree plant bog plants, available at a pond suppply store. plant wild swamp plants you get at the side of ponds. Do you have any real depth to this area or is it fairly shallow? What I am thinking short of making it a pond area take advantage of the water in this area. If it looks like a swamp make it a swamp. That can be every much enjoyable as a pond. If there is a lot of water dig a pond and go that route. Take advantage of what you have and make the most of it. That way the cost will not be scary.
