Why are my fish losing their color

25 9:01:18

Question
I just got a few mickey mouse freshwater fish. They are white, black and mostly orange. The orange is fading away on all of them. They do not look sick and they are eating/swimming well...I just got over ick; it was on a black fish of mine, nothing was wrong with the mickey mouse fish. I've had this problem before, and I never understood why it happened.
Thanks
Jill

Answer
Fish can change colors for all sorts of reasons, sometimes they will change to match their enviroment, sometimes they change from fear, sometimes it is caused by mating, or it could be a need for nutrition.
There are so many reasons I couldn't tell you for sure, but I doubt if all other things seem fine that it is anything to worry about.
Good luck!
