Ich, or fin & tail rot

Question
In the past week I noticed what appeared to be ich on my angle fish. I looked a little more closely and found it to be on all of my fish. I have a 30 gallon tank, with 3 angle fish, 1 bala shark, 1 red fin shark, 3 danios, 1 blue and 1 gold gourami one. 1 plecostomus, 2 silver dollars.  I have just the plecostomus, 2 angles, blue gourami, and 1 danio left. I have been treating them for ich but it hasn't helped at all, any suggestions.

Answer
Hi Kathy,
Ich can be caused by poor water quality or not quarantining a new fish. You may want to test your water to see if thats your problem. Ich can be treated by aquarium salt. Turn the heater up a few degrees to speed up the life process of the ich.
Im sorry to say this but a pleco grows to be over a foot in length. They also produce large amounts of waste. You may need to rehome him.
