Hi,

Just noticed babies in my tank(think they are platties)
can you tell me how many babies they can have at one go?

Hello Stephanie,
They usually have between 10 and 20 fry (babies). The adults will eat the fry though, so if you want them to live you should buy a breeding net for them, or at least give them plenty of live plants and hiding spaces in the tank. Also, she may well have another lot of fry in around 4 weeks. Feed the fry with baby brine shrimp and crushed flake food.
