Keeping Goldfish with Parrots

Question
Dear Sir,
I have bought a new aquarium 10 days ago. The vendor suggested keeping 4 Parrots, 2 Silver sharks,2 Zebra Angels, 4 Goldfish and 2 Black Moore together in a 4*1.5*2 ft tank.
Recently 1 goldfish died for it had been severely bitten on its stomach. Now today, I observed one more goldfish has been bitten on stomach, while tail fin of another gold was bitten off and bleeding. Moreover, tail fins of both Black Moores have been torn and bitten 60%.
While i have segregated 1 gold and black moore into a separate water-bucket and administered them with general aid I have released the other black m and gold(bitten fin) back into aqrm.
Although I have been able to get around the aquarium for very short span of time. I have often seen other species fishes bullying them all the time.
What cud have possibly gone wrong, r other fishes eating on to them. How can i get them all back together.
Your kind advice would be highly appreciated.

Answer
Dear Jagpreet,
The problem is goldfish cannot be kept with other fish except for their own species. Otherwise you experience problems like this with the goldfish being bitten and nipped. Goldfishes long-flowing fins and slow swimming is too much of a target for other faster fish to chase. I'm sorry your having trouble and the vendor didn't give the right information. The best thing you could do is either return the goldfish or move them into an aquarium of their own.

I really hope this helps!
Best wishes,
Karen~
