orange chilid

Question
I have had an orange chilid in a 10 gallon tank (by itself) for about 6 months now and I have "cave-like" and flower decoration in with it. I've noticed that it has removed ALL of the gravel surrounding and under the the cave like dwelling that it stays in. I have put the gravel back four or five times now, can you tell me why it is doing this? thank you in advance for your response

Its doing it, because its what Cichlids do. They rearrange their tanks to their own liking and this can and does include moving gravel, ornaments, ripping plants up, it's behaviour in moving the gravel and then moving it again once you've put it back is COMPLETELY NORMAL behaviour for a Cichlid, I'd be more worried if it WASN'T doing it!
