Colored water

Hello,
 I was just wondering a couple of things about Beta fish.  One is, how active should one be?  Also, is it ok to put food coloring in the water in the water like the stores do sometimes? Thank you.

Hi, never put food coloring in an aquarium whith fish! Usually at pet stores you may see the different color aquarium lighs or sometimes the fish in the tank are being treated from some type of disese these medications change the color of the water.And to answer your question about betta fish, betta fish are no the most active fish, just make sure you feed him whel the keep him active.THANKS!
