Female Betas

Question
I have a had a female beta for about 8 months.  She has more than a 5 gallon aquarium.  I today purchased another female beta, thinking it to be company for her.  She and the new fish keep fighting.  I was trying to find out why or if this will continue?  They are both female, I have done my research.  The new one is smaller and most likely younger.  Do you think this has anything to do with it?  Is it a dominance issue or something?  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi Cristina;

Female bettas don't always get along. They have individual personalities and can be quite the little characters! Here is a great page about females co-habitating that will give you some tips;
