Oscar swelling

Question
HELP!
We've had a large albino Oscar for around 18 months and never had any problems with him. However over the last 24 hours we have noticed severe swelling in his left eye and abdomen. He also appears to have a clear bubble of flesh towards his rear.
We're incredibly worries, have no idea what it cpould be and desperately want to be able to cure him. What can we do?

Hi Kaleigh,
 Sorry for the delay in responding; I was out of the country for a week and just got back this evening.  Worse yet, there isn't much of use that I can tell you.  Sadly, when a fish swells up like that there is really nothing that you can do as far as I know. I'm very sorry.
