bettas feeding & playing

Question
I just purchased a betta a few weeks ago,and somehow I got kinda attached to it.  It seems like it knows me and flutters around quite a bit when I "wave" at it.  Is there any truth to the fact that you can train them to come up to your finger and get their lunch?

Hi Susan,
  It is easy to get attached to bettas.   And yes, it does actually know you and you can train them. Just be patient and the little guy will learn your habits.
