Question
hi . i have a new albino oscar about3/12 inches in 55 gals cycled tank. i put him in with 2 red jewels and a pleco. he is very shy and will swim happily but if i ever approach the tank he will hide in his corner for however long i am near. he is in good condition and does not seem stressed but i cannot get near the tank . he has not fed yet at this stage (pellets ) . ihave 3 platies still in the tank from cycling .
my power head throws lost of tiny bubbles all over the tank as well as overhead drips and provides good current. is that ok for oxygeneation. many thanks Laurent

Answer
Hi Laurent,
It all sounds fine and normal.  Oscars can take a while (weeks) to get used to a new home and new owner so please be patient with him.
