No 2

Hi we have a globe eyed fantail goldfish who is 4 months old, just lately she has been floating on one of her plants, slightly curled up, she is eating but not swimming around her tank at all, she just sits on her plant, she has a water change every 2 weeks and new filter every month, i feed her 5 pellets each morning, and today i stroked the tank and she hardly moved, but she is alive,do you know whats wrong, my daughter named her number 2.

Hi Colleen,

You seem to be taking good care of Number 2 =).  Even I don't buy my fish a new filter every month.  Number 2 could be egg bound.  Check that she hasn't gotten very fat around the abdomen.  I hope you are feeding her the very tiny pellets also known as granuels, otherwise overfeeding could be the cause.
